New Feature- RT Interactive
It’s been a while since the last article was published. I’ve been hard at work developing a new feature called RT Interactive, and it is intended to be used to allow users to interact with simulations described in the articles herein. It’s taken a lot of work to develop the first one- developing interactive web content is something new for me.
This new feature is very different from the standard WordPress articles that are common everywhere. I developed a custom simulation and needed to learn web programming (I previously had been embedded software) and manipulation of screen elements. It’s a bit more akin to app development, albeit in a browser.
These simulations are a lot of work. I intend to repurpose the initial one for future interactive concepts. However, they likely will be released some time after the articles are written, due to the effort involved. Over time, this should get faster. I found that I was able to add ever more complex features to this one more quickly as time went on.
Early this week expect another article formally launching this feature with a link to the simulation. Stay tuned.
